These drills are an excellent opportunity to train and refresh our Rural Water Skills, both for the experienced member as well as newer members. Everyone
Attending will be able to participate. We drill on Tanker Shuttle best practices, as well as LDH Hose Relay best practices, and overcoming unusual challenges that are found in the Rural Firefighting Arena.

Forcible Entry Training
The Kent County Fire Chiefs are hosting a training class on the new forcible entry prop that was purchased. The training will be held on Sunday, December 19th from 9 am to 3 pm at the Chestertown Volunteer Fire Company, Inc.
Lunch will be provided by the Fire Chiefs.

Delmarva Power Training
The Kent County Fire Chiefs are hosting a training class provided by Delmarva Power on High Voltage Power Lines. The training will be held at the Millington Fire House on Saturday, November 6th at 9 am.
Lunch will be provided by the Fire Chiefs.

Forceible Entry Prop Purchased
The Kent County Fire Chiefs have purchased a forcible entry prop that will aid in forcible entry training throughout the county. The prop is in the process of being placed on a utility trailer where it will be able to go from station to station throughout the county for the volunteers to train on.
The training prop was purchased with money from the fire chiefs general found and will be maintained by each volunteer fire company in the county.
