I.   Purpose

To establish a standard guideline to establish a stipend for the Officers of the Kent County Chiefs Association.

II.  Definition

III.  Policy

A.    It shall be the policy of the Kent County Chiefs Association to establish a stipend for the Association Officers in accordance with Kent County Chief’s Association S.O.G. 1-1-25.

IV.  Guidelines

1. The Kent County Chief Association recognizes the increased workload and time that the Officers of the Association have incurred while serving in their capacity.  Besides the duties of the Association, they have the duties required of them in their home company or department.

2. With the increase responsibilities, the Association has established an annual stipend to be giving to the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

3. The stipend shall not exceed $500.00 to be given to each elected officer at the next Chief Association meeting after the election of officers.

4. The stipend is to help offset the cost for fuel, cell phone use, etc.
